Ethan knows Hell is no place for an angel, especially not his Angel. He would sacrifice his soul every day of his life in order to save hers.

Fuelled by an almost obsessive desire, their need for each other ignites a passion that most couples could find destructive, but instead the flames of their possessive vigilance only seem to feed the fire of their insatiable hunger. The slaying of Ethan’s demons has made their fortress of love stronger than ever.

But Angel continues to paper over the cracks of her troubled past, running from the demons that chase her and the nightmares that plague her. When a twist of fate forces her to confront them, she finally begins to accept that her repressed memories need to be explored in order to attain the peace she craves.

But in her search for Nirvana, Angel discovers far more than buried memories.

What happens when the worst nightmare you’ve ever encountered is the one you wake up in?

When the past comes face to face with the present to reveal a web of diseased secrets and lies?

And the only road you can take leads to one destination … Hell.

“Angel?” Ethan’s low, husky tones startled me.

He stood in the doorway wearing nothing but a pair of low-slung, faded jeans, the sight of him inciting my taste buds to drool desirously, like chocolate melting on my tongue.

“Come here,” he instructed.

Obeying instantly, I unfurled my legs and moved across the room toward him. He gazed at me, his expression still inscrutable, and then slowly he moved around to my back.

“Close your eyes.”

Again, I complied without hesitation. I felt something soft brush gently against my eyelids, a smooth, silky fabric blocking out all remaining light as it tightened against my skin. He was blindfolding me.

My heart struck my chest wall with a sudden instinctive foretaste of what was to come. The blindfold, his insistence that I wear my red shoes, his near-naked form in the doorway, suggested only one thing. But his talk of my needing to learn a lesson, his tone, and impenetrable mood hinted at something different. Nonetheless, my skin prickled with eager expectation as I waited for my next instruction in the darkness behind my eyelids.

Suddenly, his voice startled me. He was closer than I’d imagined, his breath warm against my ear, his smell … exquisite. “How does that make you feel?”

Misreading the question, I nodded to let him know I was okay.

“No, Angel. Tell me how it makes you feel.” His voice was slightly harsher than before, more demanding.

I thought about what he wanted me to say, trying to tune in to the sensations I was feeling, but struggling. “Restricted,” I said finally.

“Anything else?” He’d shifted, his lips grazing the lobe of my other ear now.

“Think beyond the blindfold.”

My mind searched for the answer, and then after a beat I whispered, “Aware. I feel more aware.”

“Of what?”

“What is it about me you’re more aware of?”

“How close you are … Your scent.”

“My scent? And what does it smell like?”

Hesitating, I scrambled for words to try and describe it, eventually arriving at, “You.”

I felt him smile briefly against my cheek and then he was gone.

5 Cup ARC Review ~ R.S. Grey’s The Allure of Dean Harper

Title: The Allure of Dean Harper (Allure #2)
Author: R.S. Grey
Release Date: Sept 28, 2015

Subject: You’re a flippin’ idiot

Good morning my dear, naive friend,

I hope you’re enjoying a breakfast of regret and sorrow.

Because you sent me to work for Dean Harper, aka a control freak in a tailor-made suit. Sure he owns the trendiest restaurants in NYC, but c’mon Jo, his ego makes Kanye West look like the Dalai Lama.

He’s the type of guy that only hears the word “no” when it’s followed by “don’t stop.”

Working for Dean Harper would be like selling my soul to the devil…and before you say anything, I don’t care if the devil has punch-you-in-the-gut brown eyes and an ass to match. My soul isn’t for sale.

Regretfully yours,

The Allure of Dean Harper is a full-length standalone romance with overlapping characters from The Allure of Julian Lefray. Both books can be read separately. Chronologically, The Allure of Julian Lefray happens first.

I honestly do not even know where to being. I am so in love with this book! The witty banter, steamy sex scenes, lovable characters, and fantastic plot make this one of my favorites for the year!
Lily is such a fun MC. Most of us have been in a similar position: out of work in a new place just trying to make it while looking for that dream job. I loved how with it and confident she was when it came to the food industry; she was more than willing (and able) to put those men in their place!
Dean, oh Dean! I know we’re supposed to be angry with him, but I connected with this character on such a deep level that I couldn’t bring myself to dislike him. Yeah, he does some bone-head guy stuff, but it’s all more than understandable if you put yourself in his shoes.
The chemistry between Lily and Dean was off the charts amaze-balls! The intensity of their relationship is like a black hole – it sucks you in and you are powerless against the pull until it spits you out on the other side, only God knows where. I literally could not put this book down, needing to see what the characters would do to/for each other.
No spoilers, I swear, but THE ENDING!! HOLY SMOKES THE ENDING!!! It was the perfect culmination of both characters fears, insecurities, and emotions. I JUST LOVED IT!!!!

I am a lover of books, chocolate, reality TV, black labs, and cold weather. Seriously, if I had it my way I would be curled up on the couch with all of those things…everyday.

I live in Texas where I spend my free time writing and reading. My favorite authors are Mindy Kaling & Jonathan Safran Foer. I’m a comedy geek and love all things funny. Women like Tina Fey, Amy Poehler, and Mindy Kaling are definitely the biggest inspirations for my writing, though I think my work tends to skew a bit smuttier than theirs.

I love RVD. Like super, duper love her. Her delve into the paranormal is amazing. Witty, emotional, exciting – it’s all there. The characters are well developed, though the story seems fast. Not rushed, per se, just quick. A lot happens in what seems to be a very little amount of time, but hey, that could just be because I didn’t want to put it down.

I love Genesis. She is strong, courageous, sharp-tongued and smart. It was tough to see her doubts and fears; the inner turmoil really does help the reader feel connected to her. You will root for her, have no doubt.

Ethan, what to say about Ethan. Not over his first love, he might overlook his fated love. It’s a sad, sorry situation, really. There were moments I wanted to smack him, but honestly, for the most part, I understood exactly what he was feeling and how he was acting. RVD has the amazing ability to keep her leading men, well, manly. Let me tell you, that can be difficult.

The peripheral characters add so, SO much to this story. Humor, something I find very important in PNR, is abundant, as is the unconditional loyalty living forever (with your best friends) can create. I really look forward to see more from these “people” in the future.

Overall, while not my favorite RVD book (nor my favorite PNR), The Dark Ones was enjoyable and I would recommend it to my friends.

The Dark Ones Teaser #2a

I still tasted her blood on my lips, was embarrassed for the first time in a century when Alex glanced up from his spot at the kitchen table to see me licking my lips like I’d just devoured the poor girl.

He shook his head. “Been that long, huh?”

“Alex…” I closed my eyes and prayed for patience. “…remind me why I let you live here?”

“I’m good-looking,” he answered simply. “Besides, I’m a hell of a fighter — scrappy, I think is how you define my kind. You need me.”

“Stop.” I pressed my fingertips to my temples and rubbed. The ache to have her had consumed me so much that I’d run down the stairs moving so fast I’d nearly collided with a wall, and grabbed blood from the fridge.

I didn’t need it.

But I craved it.

And if I didn’t drink the donated blood, I sure as hell was going to drain her and enjoyed very last drop.

“I wonder” Alex’s voice pierced my thoughts. “What’s it like?” He leaned forward. “Having to learn self-control all over again… being as ancient as you are?”

I ignored him.

He kept talking.

“Blood-free for a century and now…” He grinned and licked his lips. “Kind of like falling off the wagon, yeah?”

“You’re giving me a headache.” I threw the empty bag of blood at his face. He moved to the side and snickered. “And I’m fine. Everything is just—”

Her smell was intoxicating. She was walking down the stairs, so her heart picked up speed, her body giving off a scent of burnt vanilla and oranges with a hint of sugar. My mouth literally watered.

“Fine?” Alex said in a mocking voice. “Was that what you were going to say? Damn, man show a little decorum, you look… starved.”

“I am,” I whispered and fought the urge to rock back and forth. That was the problem with mating — with bonding. Nothing tasted like her, nothing ever would, and typically, having her as my mate gave me full access.

But the more I took…

The stronger the bond.

And the more I wanted…

It was a vicious overwhelming cycle. It would lead me to become emotionally invested while she, as a human, could simply pretend.

It wasn’t fair.

Immortals, in essence, were cursed with a deep desire to be like a human — to possess them, to bond with them forever — while humans only felt the same draw to us if they actually loved us.

“Oh, there you are.” Stephanie pushed Genesis forward and pulled out a chair.

Slowly, Genesis took a seat and glared at each one of us. “Where’s Mason?”

It shouldn’t have pissed me off.

But it had.

“He’s none of your concern,” I spat.

“Easy!” Alex chuckled. “Rule number one, don’t ask your mate where the other dude is. Just… don’t.”

Genesis blinked at Alex then back at me. “Because you guys have the capacity for jealousy.”

Alex whistled while Stephanie laughed.

Immortals were the most jealous beings on the planet. Had her school taught her nothing?

Was I to be her tutor as well?

“So…” Alex trained his eyes on her, putting her at as much ease as he could without stopping her poor heart. “Now that the mating is complete, you get to learn all about us and service your man here.” He slapped my back.

Really. Really. Poor choice of words.

Genesis paled.

I rolled my eyes. “He’s kidding.”

Alex laughed. “I think it needs to be said that having a human at the house has already helped my mood immensely.”

“That makes one of you,” Genesis said under her breath.

Alex leaned forward and whispered, “Ethan, try not to be so grouchy. Keep the fangs in and all.”

I extended them just to prove a point.

Genesis recoiled.

I instantly felt guilty.

Damn it.

“You won’t…” I licked my lips. “You won’t have to service me, as Alex so delicately put it.”

“Is that what mates do?” Genesis asked, her eyes searching mine. “They…” She lifted her hands into the air and dropped them.

“If that’s what you think they do, we have a very big problem.” Alex mimicked her movements and winked.

She blushed.

I hissed at him and returned my attention to her. “It’s like a human relationship, only stronger. You’ll attend functions with me, be by my side, at my beck and call for as long as you live.”

I didn’t want to say until one day she just didn’t wake up. It sounded too cruel.

“And when I’m bored out of my mind… I do what?” She crossed her arms. “I mean, what could you possibly need from me?”

“Adorable.” Alex sighed happily. “I’m so glad we kept her.”

“Alex…” I was two seconds away from slamming him into the nearest wall. “Make yourself useful and find our human a snack.”

“I’m not a pet!” Genesis yelled. “And I’m not your human!”

“You are,” I yelled right back, “mine!”

“Kids.” Stephanie stepped between us.

I didn’t even realize I’d gotten out of the chair and was towering over her, fangs out, hands raised. She’d turned me into a monster. And still, my eyes found her erratic pulse. One more taste…

“Ethan—” Stephanie pushed against my chest. I didn’t move. “Ethan!”

“Friend…” Mason walked into the room. “Sit your ass down before she hands it to you.”

“Like she could!” I roared.

“Like I have!” Stephanie pushed me again. “Don’t tempt me… again.”

I sat, while Mason made his way over to Genesis and offered an easy smile. The man had nothing to smile about, yet he was smiling — at my mate.

I growled.

Mason gave me the finger and kept his attention trained on Genesis. “How do you feel?”

“Better.” She returned his smile and squeezed his outstretched hand. “Thanks for not… killing me when I asked.”

“Damn…” Alex said from the kitchen.

“You were in pain.” Mason shrugged. “And I’m glad you’re alright.”

“She’s fine. We’re fine. Everything’s fine,” I said through clenched teeth. “Now it’s probably time to give her answers before she thinks she can run off and actually survive in the real world without being hunted by a Dark One, or worse, found by Cassius.”

“He isn’t all bad,” Stephanie said defensively.

We all glared at her.

“What?” She lifted her hands into the air. “I’m just saying he’s been trying as hard as we have. So what if he’s gotten a bit possessive over the last few numbers that have been called.”

Alex slammed his fist onto the table. “He stole Ethan’s—”

“Enough.” I held up my hand. The pain in my chest grew until it was hard to breathe. I knew what would take that pain away.

But I was too angry to ask for it. Too ashamed to fall to my knees in front of a mere mortal and beg for her to end the pain by allowing me one solitary drop of her blood.

As if on cue, another bag of blood hit me in the head.

Alex must have sensed my mood.

I bit into it and looked away from Genesis’s horrified expression.

Knowing this about his brother and knowing that he was going to die, Jake asked him to look after the love of his life. Now Luke is torn between the promise he made to his brother and the pull of something he’s never known before.

“Promise me, I need to hear you say it, Luke.”
Luke swallowed. “I promise I’ll take care of Cara, you don’t have to worry about her.” A tear slipped down his cheek as he finished his vow to his little brother.
Jake smiled slightly and closed his eyes. “I could always count on you.”

Cara Sloane is struggling with the loss of her first love and the power of addiction. Jake had been her rock for so long, with him gone she realizes how broken she is. She doesn’t want to feel anything, least of all the emptiness in her heart.

A tragic accident leaves Luke and his family pleading with Cara to change the course of her life. Can Cara face her demons and learn there is life after Jake? Can she learn that she can hold onto to the beautiful memories they made together and still live her life?

“I don’t want to fix her because she’s broken.” He said with his own voice sounding a bit broken. “I want to help her because losing her too isn’t an option.”
Individually they try to heal, together they wonder if they can fit the pieces of their broken lives.

Chapter 1

          “Keep doing that,” Sean breathes,

pulling my bottom lip into his mouth before releasing it.

I scratch my nails up and down his

back, running my other hand through his golden brown hair. He’s got it cut

really short, and I like it. “This?”

He switches to my top lip. “Yeah,

it feels good,” he says, hungrily moving back and forth over my mouth. When he

rocks against me, our tongues collide. I softly moan, enjoying the friction it

brings. He squeezes my breast then glides down my quivering stomach, meeting

the edge of my shorts. The familiar confusion settles in.

“Are you wet for me?” His voice is

husky as his fingers slip inside of my panties. Desire pools in his eyes.

all in your head, Reese. You can do this.

Meeting his gaze, he asks, “Do you

want me?”

I feel conflicted, not wanting to

hurt him. He senses my hesitation and rolls off me, rubbing the space between

his brows.

“It still feels like we’re rushing things. I’m

“Don’t worry,” he replies, clearly

frustrated. “Give me a minute to lose this semi, and I’ll be fine.”

“I didn’t mean to get your hopes

up.” I scoot back against the headboard and fasten my shorts. He lets out an

exaggerated breath. It’s been a few months since we’ve called our relationship

‘official.’ He’s never pressured me for sex, but it’s clear my hesitancy is

wearing on him.

“It’s your first time. You’re nervous,” he

replies, looking straight ahead. I can tell he’s thinking into it. Ever since

Luke’s return, I’ve sensed his insecurity. We haven’t spoken since the night he

came back, but it doesn’t make Sean feel any better. He knows how much Luke

meant to me.

“You’re leaving?” I ask as he

climbs out of bed.

Grabbing his light blue polo, he

pulls it over his head, and makes a weak attempt to cover his erection. “It’s

late,” he says, tapping twice on the doorframe. “I should go.” He starts down

the hall.

“Wait.” I jump out of bed, meeting him in the

middle. “I love you. You know that, right?” We’ve said it before, but I want

him to know that I mean it. “I’m just protecting my heart.”

His eyes soften. I hope that means

he believes me.

“What’s up guys?” Logan calls from

the other room.

We glance toward the couch, where

he and Gia are spooning, the volume on the television set low. I purse my lips,

unaware we had an audience, then my eyes move to the fresh bouquet of Calla

lilies displayed on our table. A shot of fear bolts through me, and I try to

speed things along, lightly pushing Sean forward. “Will I see you tomorrow, or

will you be working?”

“Depends on what I get done tonight.”

“Well, you better get going then.”

“I’m goin’.”

I move him to the door, and he

pauses and turns to Logan.

“Dude. You’re going to have to quit

that.” He tips his head toward the flowers with a half grin on his face.

“You’re making me look bad.”

I cringe, glancing at Logan. To say

he looks confused is an understatement.

“The flowers,” Sean confirms.

Logan lifts his head. His eyes

flick from me to the lilies before he relaxes against the pillow. He focuses

back on the television. “Wish I could take the credit, man, but those aren’t

from me.”

Gia silently apologizes with her

eyes. Logan doesn’t know any better. It isn’t her fault. I’m the one who chose

to lie to my boyfriend. Hurrying us out the door, I prepare for an argument.

“You lied to me,” Sean says sharply, not

wasting any time. His hair glistens under the porch light.

 “It’s not what you think.”

“It’s not? Because I’m thinking

Luke sent you those flowers.”

“You’re right. He did,” I pause, sighing. “But they don’t mean anything. I just

wasn’t sure how to tell you. I knew it would upset you.”

He looks disgusted. “And that makes

it okay?”

I sit on the porch bench right

outside the door. “Of course it doesn’t. I should have been honest with you.

Lying was stupid.” Feeling defeated, I put my head in my hands.

“Is there anything else I need to know, while

we’re being honest with each other? Just get it all out now. I don’t want any

more surprises.”

yeah, Luke has a wife. I

shake my head. “There’s nothing.” His jaw ticks like he doesn’t believe me.

“Stop reading into this like it’s more than it is. They’re just flowers, Sean.”

“Just flowers,” he murmurs lowly,

rubbing his hand against his forehead. “Is he the reason you won’t let me fuck

 “Excuse me?” My stomach drops.

“You heard me.”

“Of course not!” I stand and look directly

into his eyes. I’ve always known this was in the back of his mind, but the way

he said it hurts. “I can’t believe you just said that!” Luke’s dog barks across

the way, and my gaze slides towards his place. “Keep your voice down! You’re

being loud.”

“So what if he hears me,” he spits.

“I told you. We haven’t spoken since the day

he moved back.”

“How do I know that isn’t bullshit?”

“Because it isn’t.” He only knows a

quarter of what happened that night. I left out the candlelit dinner and the

wife—a wife I’ve rarely seen around here. I assume they’re having problems

already. It wouldn’t surprise me in the least.

Two days after we’d met on the

rooftop, my heart shattered all over again, when I spotted a woman carrying

boxes into his house. I recognized her immediately and ran to the toilet to dry

heave, then silently bawled for an hour. I wasn’t prepared to have it shoved in

my face. A part of me had hoped that, if I let Luke explain like he’d asked,

we’d somehow be able to move on from this, but my logical side told me to let

him go. I didn’t want to make the same mistakes as my mother—constantly living

in denial. I refused to be that girl.

The next night I walked out my

front door and came face to face with a large German Shepard. Startled, I took

a cautious step back. He sat on his hind legs, lifting a paw like he wanted to

shake. Hesitantly, I leaned down to pet him, admiring his brindle fur coat. “Hey there, big boy. You scared me for a

minute.” I smiled, and he happily panted in return. “Good thing you’re friendly. Are you lost?”

“Chance,” called the voice of the woman from the day before, standing in

front of Luke’s place. I froze when she walked over, sizing me up with an

eyebrow raised. I’m not sure if she recognized me from the hospital. “I’m

Rachelle,” she said, reaching out her hand. It took me a second to take it. She

exuded confidence and was disgustingly fit. I wanted to throw up again.

“Reese,” I replied with a clear of

my throat, before we shook hands.

Flipping her hair over her

shoulder, her eyes fell on Chance. “Sorry. Blame it on his father. I told him

Chance had mastered opening doors.” She

tipped her head toward their house. “But Luke had other things on his mind,

if you know what I mean.” She laughed half-heartedly. “You know men. Maybe next

time he’ll put him away first, like I’d asked.” Reaching for his collar, she said, “C’mon boy. Let’s go,” dragging

him back to the house. “It was nice to meet you,” she said right as she shut the door.

That was the last time I saw her.

“For two damn months this has gone

on! You couldn’t tell him to stop?” Sean yells, snapping me out of the memory.

 “I didn’t want to face him. I … I thought if I

ignored it, he’d get the hint and stop sending the flowers.”

“You’ve got ‘em in the center of

your living room!”

“At first I threw them away, even

using his garbage can, so he’d see

“You’re giving him the wrong idea,

“Stop yelling! I can hear you!” I

shout, as loud as him.

“Are you going to tell him, or am I?” His

fists clench at his sides.

“You okay, Reese?” Luke calls, standing twenty

feet away. My breath catches as he strides over. Sean pulls me in for a

possessive kiss, making things more awkward than they already are. Forcing my

eyes shut, I give in, though I’m not done being pissed. What he’d said earlier

was disrespectful, but I need to show him there’s no reason for his insecurity.

Luke and I are truly over.

“You gonna let her answer, or are

we gonna stand here all night?”

My skin responds to the familiar

voice as if it were touching me. Oh God,

he’s so close.

Sean releases me, wiping his mouth. “Mind your own business. She’s not your

concern anymore.”

Ignoring Sean completely, Luke asks

me again, “You okay Reese?” His eyes search deep, like he’s invading my soul.

Chills shoot up the back of my neck. I don’t know how he does it. He’s

shirtless and freshly showered—wearing low-slung shorts that show off his

muscular physique, and the sexy V framing his pelvic area, one I’ve been known

to stare at.

I drag my eyes away from his body,

breathing in his intoxicating scent. He’s

married, Reese. He’s a liar! Remember?

“She’ll be fine once you leave her alone. And

stop sending the flowers,” Sean growls. “She doesn’t want them.”

“You gonna buy them for her?” Luke

asks without casting him a glance. A conflict of emotions burns inside my

chest. How can he be so protective on one

hand, yet so hurtful on another?

“I said she doesn’t want you here,

man. Go back inside.”

The tension continues to thicken. I

place a hand over Sean’s chest, giving it a slight shove. “Let’s get you home.”

If he doesn’t shut up, he’s going to get

his butt kicked.

“Do you always let him speak for

Whipping around to face Luke, I

spit, “I think you know me better than that, and frankly, it’s none of your

He moves a little too close, dipping

down to meet my eyes. “You being honest with me?”

Then Sean’s up in Luke’s face. “She

can’t stand being near you, asshole! Take the fucking hint!”

Luke smirks, taunting him. “You

keep telling yourself that, buddy. Reese and I have a past. I can read her like

a book.” He straightens his shoulders. “Whether she’s hiding something, her

emotions, her truths, her lies … all of it.”

God … where is he going with this?

“That’s special. Really, I’m touched. But

where were you when her father died, huh? ‘Cause I was drying her tears,

picking up the pieces you left behind. You dumb piece of shit!”

I watch Luke’s expression change to

lethal. When he turns to me, his jaw is clenched. “If you care about him at

all, you’ll convince him to walk away.” His voice is a low growl.

I take his threat seriously,

grabbing onto Sean’s arm. “It’s late. You have work to do. Remember?” I plead,

keeping my voice as calm as I can muster, but I’m not sure that it’s helping.

He still hasn’t budged.

“Tell him what you said about the

flowers. I’ll go home once you’re inside. I’d be crazy to leave him alone with

“Luke would never hurt me.”

He snorts, then Luke rams himself

hard into his chest. “Something funny, prick?” Before I can blink, he’s bumping

him again. There isn’t a contest on who would win, if things got ugly. Luke’s

an expert, and he towers over Sean.

I work my way between them, placing

a hand on both of their chests, giving Sean a look of warning. Then I turn my

attention to Luke. “I don’t think it’s appropriate that you send me flowers.” A

lump forms in my throat. “I need you to stop.” Why do I feel sorry for him?

His hands slip deep into his

pockets, and slowly he backs away, showing no flicker of emotion. “Done,” is

all he says.

I lift my chin. Glad I’ve made it easy. Now run along to your wife, wherever she is.

When he reaches his front door, I

give Sean a glare. He’s still on my shit list. “Told you—you have nothing to

worry about.”

He wraps his arms around me,

kissing the side of my neck, even though I slightly protest. “Something tells

me he’s not done yet.”

 “You’ll see.”

“That’s what I’m afraid of.”

“See you in the morning,” Luke calls from his

doorway. His arms stretched out wide, he grips the frame.

Sean tenses, and I stare at Luke,

 “The morning?”

Every ripple of his torso is on

display under the porch light. “Work,” he replies, with his gaze fixed on Sean,

no matter that I’m who asked the question. “I’m back at the gym.”

My mouth falls open, the beat of my

heart triples its pace, and I stand there, speechless.

“Shit. Someone’s coming,” I say as I try and back away from Billy, just enough so that I can…

“What the fuck are you doing?” I hear my father scream from the far end of the barn.

I freeze. Billy casually stands up, all calm and collected, turning toward my father, before he strolls right on out of the barn.

“You dirty ass son of bitch, what the fuck are you doing?” my father growls as his face turns as red as a radish. “How dare you force someone to suck your pathetic excuse for a dick.” My father reaches me then, leaning over and pulling me up by my shirts.

“He volunteered,” I say back. Years ago my father intimidated me like no other man, but as I’ve gotten older, I’ve grown taller and far stronger than him.

“No wonder non of ‘hem girls come ‘round here, you fucking faggot.” My father continues his verbal tirade and I see Billy out of the corner of my eye. The son of a bitch has the balls to mouth “sorry” to me before he takes off for his truck.
