Review ~ Game Player by BJ Harvey

Game Player by BJ Harvey

27779004.jpgMatt Taylor’s motto:
“I’m the king of the cut ‘n’ run. I wine them, dine them, then slide inside them, making sure I get up, get dressed and get out before they can even utter the words “second date.”

Mia Roberts’ motto:
“I’m queen of the chase. I meet them, greet them, date them and leave them. A social butterfly, I’m happily single and happy to stay that way.”

The players have been found.

The challenge has been set.

Whatever happens, they’ll soon find out that playing the game can get you played in the best possible way.

One touch two years ago was not enough, and if I don’t keep myself in check, I’ll be helpless to resist him the next this happen.

Matt and Mia have a great chemistry that made this book easy to lose myself in. I enjoyed the back and forth between the two, even if I did want to shake Mia a few times. Both characters denied their feelings for each other for so dang long I was surprised they didn’t set the bar of fire during the… how can I say this? Kiss heard ’round the world. Yeah, that works 😉

Both of our MCs appear to be commitmentphobes to everyone around them and, unfortunately, to each other. But you know, stuff happens and someone realizes that maybe, just maybe this is more than another romp in the sheets waiting to happen.

One touch, one kiss, and one moan from [them], and [they] had me.

I got this book when it was still FREE on Amazon (which it still as of the date of this review), and it had been a while since I enjoyed a freebie this much. I will definitely be seeking out more books from BJ Harvey after this first taste.
