A Bit of Bite
A killer is stalking the streets of Crossroads, Mississippi, and it’s up to Sheriff Ava Dushaine to stop him. But when suspicion falls on werewolf alpha Julian Kasey—Ava’s ex-lover and the man who still haunts her dreams—Ava knows that she’ll either have to prove his innocence…or watch the whole town go up in flames.
**This was originally part of an Entangled anthology. It’s short (like, lightning speed), and free.

I was in a rut and needed something to give me a little push. So I flipped through my paranormal freebies and landed on A Bit of Bite. It’s 11,000 words of whoa. There’s explosions, betrayal, lust, love, and even a little death sprinkled in.
In other words, it was a super fun refresher that helped me get over the hump of the dreaded reading slump. What I didn’t expect to gain from ABoB (lol…that looks super dirty) was the desire to read more from Cynthia Eden. But guys, that is exactly what I got. The next time I need a little jump start, I’m going to pick a first in series of Ms. Eden and (more than likely) binge on the whole series without a break.
That’s all I’ve got. It’s a short review, but seriously, it’s 11k….how do I not ruin it for you if I write more??? I don’t want to rate it, though. I’d give it four cups based on the fun and how well it was written, but it’s so short that it’s tough to find fault. It either sucks or it doesn’t for me. In this case, it doesn’t.
