A really good installment of The O’Malleys series. Every book makes me want the next one. This one gave me even more reason to jump on book 6… I CANNOT wait to see what happens next.

This is Aiden’s book and holy hotness did it deliver! Not only did we finally get a good peek into his head, but the build up for the last book (because the Russian GAH!) is phenomenal. Back to Aiden…

Aiden and Charlie have great chemistry. They have a push and pull, a ohmigosh don’t ditch, element that kept me turning the pages. Yeah, I mean, you’re gonna know they stay together, but dude, how it happens is what matters. The way Charlie inserts herself so naturally into the O’Malley family is awesome…she’s one tough cookie lemme tell ya. They way she supports Aiden was exactly what he needs as the head of the family. And Aiden, poor guy, he never had a chance to deny his feelings. Oh, he tried, but it’s Charlie!

Add in the events with Demitri and Kiera and I was sold.

I will say, it’s a long series and at times you want Katee to get on with it, but overall I am enjoying the journey.

Scandal. Wealth. Power. Seduction. Welcome to the world of the O’Malleys.

Ex-cop Charlotte Finch used to think there was a clear line between right and wrong. Then her fellow officers betrayed her, and the world is no longer so black and white. Especially when it’s Aiden O’Malley, one of the most dangerous men in Boston, who offers her a chance for justice. The only catch: she’ll have to pretend to be his fiancĂ©e for his plan to work.

Aiden can’t afford to let anyone see the man behind the mask. To run the O’Malley empire, he has to be cool and controlled at all times. But the moment he meets Charlie, they’re playing with fire. Her slightest touch is enough to send him over the edge. At first their “engagement” was a way to eliminate his enemies. Now he’ll do whatever it takes to keep her safe– even if he has to destroy his own family to do it.
